Weights Engineer - Aerospace Location: Warton, Lancs. - on site Salary: £45,000 - £52,400 - depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Weights Engineer Defining and carrying out engineering tasks within your span of responsibility for you and any subordinate staff under your control Agreeing your work plan with your line manager and applying the most efficient engineering methods available Ensuring the technical content of your work and also that of subordinate staff, including deliverables, is acceptable to your line manager Ensuring effective interactions with your team, customers, and others, to promote the best interests of the team, department and company Providing efficiency and effectiveness suggestions for the development of Weights Engineering toolsets and processes within the discipline capability development framework Your skills and experiences: Weights Engineer Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft structure and systems Weights Engineering processes and methods, including early lifecycle weight, centre of gravity and inertia property assessment, and the management of weight targets Degree/HND/HNC in a STEM subject or equivalent professional qualifications in terms of formal education Relevant experience working within a Weights Engineering, Structural Engineering or Airframe related discipline Previous experience of managing staff would be advantageous Benefits: Weights Engineer You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
