Position: Product Support and Warranty Manager Job Description: Are you ready to play a crucial role in delivering superior customer satisfaction and minimizing warranty exposure? As the Product Support and Warranty Manager at our client, you will be an integral part of the team, reporting to the Quality Director and closely collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Develop strong customer relationships, ensuring prompt and effective problem resolution. Investigate in-service/warranty issues at airline and airframers' sites, providing on-site product support. Prepare and manage Commitment Letters, overseeing their fulfillment. Lead the team in solving complex technical problems using structured problem-solving techniques. Propose solutions to resolve in-service issues and settle claims. Maintain a detailed log of customer field issues, with a focus on warranty claims. Assess and minimize settlement costs through creative problem-solving and resource efficiency. Scrutinize and challenge warranty claims to ensure legitimacy, proportionality, and reasonableness. Clearly present technical solutions and project status to customers. Skills and Experience Required: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Experience in various manufacturing methods, with the ability to verify according to engineering data and cosmetic standards. Hands-on experience with 8D problem-solving methodology and supporting tools. Self-starter with good judgment and decisiveness under pressure. Strong organizational and management skills for handling multiple projects. Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree. Very strong work ethic and excellent analytical skills.
