The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our Warehouse, overseeing the goods in / products out process, maintaining stock control and upholding the highest standards of safety and organisation. Effective collaboration with other departments is key to the role. Key accountabilities and responsibilities: * To manage, motivate and develop the team of Warehouse Operators to meet productivity targets safely and efficiently. * To ensure the timely allocation and completion of Warehouse Operations tasks with strict adherence to the Company’s processes and procedures: * Goods in receipt, unloading, inspection, labelling / documentation, and storage * Picking for Customer orders * Picking for Production * Cycle counting * Housekeeping * To drive efficient use of resources (people, equipment and floor / racking space) through development of processes and maintenance of KPIs. * To continuously identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements. * To develop and promote high levels of inter-department communications and collaboration by the Warehouse team and Customer Service / Purchasing / Production / QHSE functions. * To develop and maintain a high level of Health and Safety awareness across the Warehouse Team and deliver Quality and Health & Safety communications. * To manage the recruitment and onboarding of new starters. * To always maintain a high level of transaction accuracy. * To drive the Company vision and promote how the Warehouse Team contributes to the overall success of the Business. * To work within business guidelines and procedures. Key skills required: * Previous experience of working with and a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including motivating, training, and developing staff. * Good understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for Warehouse operations. * Accuracy and attention to detail with an understanding of Business financial impacts from Warehouse operations * Ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines with a flexible approach to work. * Good multitasking skills and ability to problem solve. * Ability to collaborate with managers across the business. * Good standard of IT literacy. * Strong team player. * Have a hands-on approach to all duties
