Warehouse / FLT Operative (Counterbalance) Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11) Contract: 6-Month Temporary (with potential for extension) Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour (including shift allowance) Start Date: ASAP Shifts: Week 1: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Week 2: Monday – Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently (valid licence required) Move and sort stock using MHE and manual handling methods Pick and pack materials according to customer orders Maintain safety standards throughout your shift Operate machinery (training provided if required) Conduct basic quality checks including hardness, conductivity, and XRF testing Complete accurate paperwork in line with customer and business requirements Assist with stock takes and general warehouse housekeeping Support other areas of the warehouse when needed What We’re Looking For: Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) Previous warehouse experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive, flexible, and safety-conscious approach Machine operating experience (desirable but not essential) What You’ll Get: Competitive pay of £14.30 per hour (shift allowance included) Rotating shift pattern with every other Friday off Opportunity to gain experience with machinery and quality testing Supportive team environment Possibility of long-term or permanent work for the right candidate How to Apply: Email your CV to Or call us on: (phone number removed) to find out more We are an equal opportunity employer.
