Vehicle/Workshop Mechanic required to work with Stockon on Tee's based local council. My client requires an experienced and professional vehicle maintenance mechanic to carry out vehicle repairs, maintenance and servicing on their fleet of vans, light goods vehicles and grounds maintenance machinery. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join the workshop team based in Stockton On Tee's. The workshop provides a light vehicle repair and maintenance service for both the Council's internal fleet. The successful candidate will work as part of the team to deliver an extensive programme of vehicle maintenance, repair, inspection and examination. They will work to ensure compliance with statutory legislation, t DVSA requirements and internal Council policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and to strict deadlines; at all times ensuring that a high quality standard of work is delivered.
