Job Title: Vehicle Technician Trainer Location: Atcham, Shrewsbury Salary: £32,000 per annum Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week Are you an Automotive Technical Trainer seeking a new opportunity, or perhaps an experienced automotive technician interested in transitioning into a training role? Our client is an independent training provider, focusing on high quality training within apprenticeships, short courses, manufacturer led programmes and bespoke delivery. They work with a vast array of both local & national clients within the automotive sector. They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Technician trainer for their site in Atcham, Shrewsbury. Benefits: • Discount scheme for major retailers • Part uniform supplied, including PPE • Internal and external training provided • Company pension scheme • Christmas shutdown • Sick pay • 25 days + 8 bank holidays per annum Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Delivery of the skills, knowledge and behavioural components of the automotive Apprenticeship Standards to ensure that apprentices are successful at their gateway and End Point Assessments • Develop and update training materials and courses • Maintenance and development of training aids, workshop facilities and resources • Complete timely assessments of apprentice work (practical and theoretical) Essential Criteria: • Appropriate level of occupational competence • Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance • Either possess or be willing to work towards an approved teaching qualification • Full Driving License holder • First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to undertake) • Satisfactory enhanced DBS check To apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Lynne at Pybus Recruitment
