Full job description Job Title: Car Mechanic Reporting to: Workshop Manager Department: Mechanical Mechanic Needed Urgently! Are you a great problem solver? If so, this might be the right role for you! You will have will be working in our own state-of-the-art workshop. Your focus is on delivering great results with a quality 'First Time Fix'. What will I be doing? * Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards * Utilize latest technology to diagnose and repair engines, gearboxes, and clutches, following a 'fix, not replace' philosophy. * Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation * Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard What do I need for this role? * Your own tools * 2+ years experience as a vehicle technician * Understand and comply with health and safety standards * A full and valid Driving Licence It will be a bonus if you had: * MOT Tester qualification * NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+ The Package * £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) * Performance bonus Other Benefits include * Annual holiday - 28 days The Hours Week 1 - Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00 Week 2 - Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00 + Every other Saturday 09:00 - 17:00 If you're keen to learn more about this opportunity, apply now with your CV.
