Role: Technician / Mechanic Location: Wigan Pay: £28,000 - £36,000 Richard Abson Group are currently assisting an esteemed client who are offering a fantastic opportunity as a Technician to join their Wigan dealership. Hours: 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out vehicle services and repairs * Examining vehicles and diagnosing non-routine defects * Reporting defects against Department of Environment (MOT) and Vehicle Safety Report (VSR) standards * Carrying out jobs within budgeted time, maintaining your own productivity * Taking responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any defects * Working in accordance with key Centre processes * Liaising with customers directly where relevant and appropriate * Coaching and supporting apprentice technicians, explaining, guiding and enabling others to learn * Attending specialised training as required About You: * A full UK driving licence * Eligibility to work in the UK * Flexible work hours required to carry out the role effectively and occasional travel * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in motor vehicle maintenance (or comparable) * Previous work experience within an automotive repair environment is preferable If this role is of interest to you then please APPLY NOW or contact Emma at Richard Abson Group!
