Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company? You will be joining a very friendly team with one of the UK’s vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible! Main: * 40 – 42.5 hours a week * Monday - Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings * 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Alternating Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½ * Salary between £36,000 - £42,000 OTE * Bonus Scheme - £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year * Training Bonus available Key Responsibilities: * Servicing * Diagnostic work * General maintenance and repairs * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) * Suspension work * Repairs on lights * Repairing and replacing exhausts * Repairing and replacing steering racks * Repairing and replacing water pumps * Repairing and replacing radiators * Repairing and replacing clutches * Dealing with gearboxes * Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements * Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters * Changing tyre and carrying out wheel alignment * Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service. * Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. * Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: * NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services * Hold a full valid driver license. * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service. * Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment
