Body Repair Technician Derby Salary: Up to £52k OTE, based on £37,800 basic salary. Benefits: They recognise they wouldn't be where they are today without their colleagues, that's why they offer excellent benefits designed to suit your lifestyle: * 9% employer contributed pension * 50% off home, motor and pet insurance plus free travel insurance and breakdown cover * Life Assurance cover at rate of four times annual salary * EV car scheme allows all colleagues to lease a brand new electric or plug-in hybrid car in a tax efficient way. * Generous holidays * Buy as you earn share scheme * Employee discounts and cashback * Plus many more The Role: * Manage all work allocated to your POD to make sure it is completed in line with booking slots and customer expectation * Liaise with your team and suppliers to ensure all customer information is accurate for their bookings * You will make accurate and right first-time assessments of vehicle damage, ensuring that it meets the fast-track repair criteria * You will need light strip and fit, bumpers, spoilers, headlights etc * You will need to be able to pull out dents (max size of A4 paper) using pin pullers * You will need to mix paint to the correct colour. * You will need to prep, mask and spray vehicles with the proper mixure of paint. * You will handle the control of courtesy car fleet assigned to your POD * You will also manage stock within your POD and order parts when running low using a computer system * You will greet customers and provide a great service Please note that you will be required to attend a 10-day all-inclusive paid course to achieve further accreditations within your induction period (you will be given a hire car, paid hotel stay and food) * Senior Cosmetic ATA * EV IMI Level 3 * ADAS IMI Level 3 * Plastic repair * Push to Paint About you: * You will need experience and knowledge in end-to-end vehicle repair including Paint Spraying, Dent removal and light strip and fit (bumpers, spoilers etc) * Ideally you will need an NVQ Level 3 Qualification * Ideally you will have an ATA accreditation although this is not essential * You will need to have strong customer service experience * You will need your own hand tools such as screwdrivers, sockets etc. * Driving Licence Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
