Sales Administrator An exciting opportunity has become available, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Sales Administrator to join our busy team at Team Valley. You will need to be able to display exceptional administration skills; and have the energy and drive to achieve the company’s objectives. You will carry out administrative tasks surrounding the sale of vehicles and provide cover for colleagues when appropriate, so that the department achieves its targets. Importantly, you must be a team player. Previous motor trade experience and Kerridge knowledge is desirable. Main duties: * To invoice vehicles when required for both new and used * To arrange vehicle taxation both via AFRL, manually and via DVLA * To keep records of sales and orders taken * To carry out filing and general upkeep of vehicle files to audit standard * To arrange PDI and Inspection & Reports of vehicles and liaise with workshops * To produce warranty documentation * To arrange and assist with vehicle deliveries i.e. pick up / drop off, as necessary * To make damage claims down the line for transit damage * To administer purchase invoice system in sales – i.e verifying and passing invoices * To carry out any other sales support tasks to progress vehicles as required * To send specs of new vehicles to manufacturer together with any changes * To arrange vehicle ordering both on computer and manually * To arrange stock transfers /swaps as required * To liaise with used sales managers for both truck and van daily * To understand the intricacies of a v5/logbook, bring units into & out of trade, change keeper, register * To carry out vehicle funding, settling and extending using the manufacturers Financial systems * To be able to arrange v62 when necessary * To liaise with sales team for workshop and outworks on sold vehicles Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company and pride themselves on developing and investing in people and facilities.
