Manpower working in partnership with Aston Martin are hiring for 2024! Join the team and be part of the iconic brand's legacy, crafting luxury performance cars in a state-of-the-art facility. Job Purpose: To test and validate any issues with vehicle during Road/Water test and then repair any issues found. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: Checking of vehicle in line with build standard and correcting as required Carry out a Road test in process audits in line with laid down quality and maintenance procedures and carry out any necessary counter measure activities. Assist in setting up of EASE process quality measures including input into FLAGS, data capture and MTTR. Adhere to Work place standard procedures at all times in line with resolution of all manufacturing concerns. Support quality, productivity and process improvement initiatives as part of daily requirements. Be responsible for the self-management of processes that the team own or have an input into. Be observant of housekeeping policy and procedures. Attendance at Audit to explain and raise concerns and then support corrective actions with full commitment Carryout Preventative maintenance in line with schedules Provide assistance and training to on line technicians as required and feed back in all levels of the business. Qualification & Experience: Willingness to learn new technology and perform at the highest level in order to meet business requirements Ability to read drawing and interpret process sheets and follow processes in line with procedures Possess the ability to work to templates, jigs and fixtures and cycle times. Has a good understanding of metal bonding processes and machinery. Relevant apprenticeship or equivalent experience to NVQ level 2. Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and AML Environmental Policy. Flexible attitude to working hours. Hand and eye co-ordination required when assessing interior and exterior component fitments and an eye for detailed panel alignment on body shells etc. Manual dexterity required handling and using a wide variety component and fitting procedures using tools and equipment. Possess tactile skills in assessing correct shapes and fitment of panels, trim and components in order to fully achieve business measurable in line with the overall business HOURS OF WORK 3 Split shift pattern Shifts may vary depending on business needs Benefits: 34 Days annual holidays to include shut down periods.
