The Role ASL Technical are looking to speak to highly skilled Vehicle Technicians to work on a contract basis and have several different shift patterns available; Days, Ealy / Late (rotating) and Nights. (respective shift premiums applied) Successful Technicians will be required to facilitate and support the repair of offline vehicles to be reintroduced into the usual process flow of the Main Production Centre while providing feedback for RCA. Working closely with members of the Offline Vehicle team to diagnose and repair high-quality production vehicles for the production centre which could include mechanical (up to and including powertrain removals), electrical and body panel removal refit. Requirements: Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualified, or relevant dealer experience advantageous both preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Practical experience within the automotive industry, i.e. within the build, maintenance and service of vehicles Ability to adopt a hands-on and professional approach to all tasks and ensure quality is maintained throughout all tasks Extensive vehicle build experience, from whole-vehicle down to component level. A comprehensive knowledge of vehicle architecture and a competent knowledge base in the safe use and operation of supporting automotive equipment Experience and an ability to contribute to component and system fault diagnosis.
