Daniel Owen are pleased to be working with a large key player within the south for all things vehicle servicing, based in Caterham, Surrey we are looking for fully qualified Vehicle Mechanics with a valid MOT Testing certificate to join a team of experienced and motivated technicians. Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other issues. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to pinpoint problems accurately. Repair and Maintenance: Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicle makes and models. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations. MOT Testing: Conduct MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Identify and rectify any defects found during the testing process. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and tests performed. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job in a timely manner. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings, recommendations, and estimated costs. Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions professionally. Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards in all aspects of work to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Mechanic/MOT Tester. NVQ Level 3 Preferred but not pivotal Relevant certifications and qualifications for MOT testing. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment and tools. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Effective communication skills with both team members and customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
