Vehicle Logistics Lead (Inside IR35) Contract - 6 months + London - Hybrid working  The Vehicle Logistics Lead will help define and implement the logistics solutions, systems and processes that will facilitate and deliver the finished vehicle logistics strategy to our global markets.  Collaborating across internal stakeholders and external Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to prepare, monitor and continuously improve the logistics network for each new market and product launch, driving distribution quality, service and cost through supplier auditing, KPI monitoring and reporting analysis versus contracted SLAs. Key engagement with vehicle logistics service providers globally to:- Develop, test and implement the LSP system interfaces with SAP that will provide vehicle traceability throughout the logistics networkExperience required 5+ years’ experience in multi-modal outbound logistics operations is essential Specific logistics experience within finished vehicle distribution is highly advantageous   Proficient in current logistics documentation, terminology and pricing models Previous experience developing IT solutions and tracking systems within a logistics / international trade environment Process driven with demonstrable record of developing and implementing new solutions and best-practices Proficient in freight cost analysis and reconciliation Knowledge and experience in supplier performance monitoring and quality auditing to drive continual improvement Good knowledge of the primary KPIs that drive logistics delivery performance Experience in damage claims management and assessment, and subsequent implementation of counter-measures is advantageous Proving ability to streamline processes and automate wherever possible A good awareness of Incoterms and international trade requirements Previous project management and team leading experience is advantageous Undergraduate degree or equivalent Comfortable with national and international travel With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
