We are currently recruiting on behalf of a nationally renowned accident repair specialist for a talented Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. Benefits of the Vehicle Damage Assessor: Basic salary c. £42,000 OTE up to £48,000 Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (30-minute break) 30 days holiday Ongoing training No weekend working Career stability with an expanding business and an excellent national reputationDuties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor: Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of damage, repair costs and repair timeframes Use Audatex competently to produce accurate estimates Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain electronic and manual estimate records Liaise effectively with insurance companies to support smooth repair authorisation and progression Work closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure Technicians understand repair methodology and documentation requirements Maintain accurate job documentation to support audit and quality standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor: Significant previous experience in a VDA/Estimator role Confidence using Audatex NVQ and/or ATA qualification (ATA accreditation desirable) Ability to meet tight deadlines High attention to detail Full UK driving licenceThe Vehicle Damage Assessor role is a strong opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a new challenge with no weekends and a clear route for progression.
