Vehicle Builder (Team leader) up £17 per hr (£34,476) , plus OT paid at x1.5 £25.50 an hr after 39 hrs, annual bonus also paid each year. Monday to Friday - early finish on a Friday, permanent position. Location of the Vehicle Builder (Team Leader) Role: Morley The company are a market-leading vehicle-building company and due to growth within the business, they require a team leader to support their continued growth. The ideal candidate will have industry sector experience, building vehicles in a production/manufacturing environment. I.e., minibuses, motorhomes, emergency vehicles, Vans trailers, trains/rolling stock etc. The role would be working days with no shift requirement needed Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Builder (Team Leader) Role Organise the day-to-day duties of your team. Oversee that the loading on each team member contributes to the overall goal of the team. Ensure that the booking of production hours is performed correctly. Identify and rectify any problems which may arise. Should this not be possible, escalate to front-line management. Coordinate the work of the team with other departments where necessary to ensure the efficiency of your team. Look ahead to the immediate future build requirements and ensure enough consumables and 'Bought for Job' parts are available from the stores. Attend daily Gemba walks, and actively update the workshop job boards. As required, attend and participate in prebuild meetings. Key requirements of the Vehicle Builder (Team Leader) Role Relevant previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role. Be self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Good communication, both written and oral. The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Good organisational skills.
