Order Ref: 55839 Position Title: Vehicle Architecture Engineer Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract Location: Dunton, Essex Division: Product Development Position Description: Vehicle Architecture development Engineer VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond. Skills Required: Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity Skills Preferred: Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools CATIA abilities Experience Required: Delivery of vehicle programs Experience Preferred: Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred Education Required: Degree in Engineering discipline Education Preferred: Degree in Engineering discipline Additional Information: Location: Hybrid - Dunton Based 3 days on site Travel: Possibly - Europe
