Starting salary between £24-28,000 per annum pending experience. 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday Rare opportunity for anyone with a technical practical mindset looking for something different in the motor trade!Our client, the UK's leading supplier of vehicle hard top canopies, tonneau covers and accessories, are currently looking to recruit a Workshop/Bodyshop Technician Assistant to join their family-run business in Swindon  Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a team of 14 You will be joining a close-knit team of 12 people, your responsibilities will include: Helping fit Canopies/Hard tops and other accessories to our clients customers vehicles.  Stripping down and rebuilding product ready to be painted Workshop/yard maintenance Support the parts department by unloading goods from delivery couriers Delivery and collection of goodsIn order to be eligible you will need strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and particularly electrical systems along with experience fitting accessories to vehicles. Formal qualifications as either a Vehicle Technician or Auto Electrician would be preferred but not essential as training provided. Overall you will have an eye for detail, have good communication skills, have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, be willing to solve problems as and when they arise. A UK driving licence with minimal points is also mandatory.  What's in it for you?
