We are currently seeking a experienced VDC Inspection Operatives to join our client based in Doncaster (DN8) As a inspection operative, you must have experience in body work. Ideally, previously worked in appraisals &. body work experience is essential as at inspection point, they need to pick up every fault on the vehicle Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour Hours of Work: Monday- Friday rotating 6-2 / 2-10 shifts, in quieter times it is 8am - 5pm so must be flexible. MUST HAVE A DRIVERS LICENCE Duties of your role: Work-shop Controller-Team Leaders and associated staff Inspect vehicles to NEW BMW, AUC and BVRLA standards, using mobile computer technology. Take high quality images of damage as required, dependant on customer inspection standard, review images to confirm quality of customer's expectations. Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately. Work with several different BMW and NON-BMW IT systems, ZG Dist, AIR, TQC AG and UK, FMG portal, one view. Have the ability to identify damage and previous repairs and applying the correct repair method autonomously. Loading work into the correct work areas and apportioning the costs to the correct responsibility. Handle all Inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner. Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers, this includes carrying out demonstrations of inspection process during calibrations. Liaise closely with site personnel and maintain regular contact with line manager. Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards. Take care and responsibility of all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents. Carry out other duties as requested by line manager. Actively champion a culture of continuous improvement Your Responsibilities: To ensure the quality of service described and laid down in the various working procedures is adhered to and improved upon were possible To be aware of the Company's responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety and its accreditation to ISO Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to, all environmental issues and within the ISO14001 standard.
