Job description Hours: Monday to Friday - Days - Flexible hours Pay: £18.00 to £21.00 per hour , weekly pay Locations: 1 vacancy Guildford and 1 vacancy Basingstoke * Van / Light Vehicle Technician* Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting repairs, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe operation of machinery and vehicles. Duties:- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and vehicles- Repair faulty mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools- Weld components to repair or fabricate parts- Interpret technical schematics to diagnose issues- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems effectively- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients- Perform equipment repairs in a timely and efficient manner- Assemble machinery and vehicle components as needed- Engage in heavy lifting tasks when required Requirements:- Proven experience as a Mechanic with a minimum Level 3 qualification in motor repair and maintenance. An additional MOT Tester certification would be a strong advantage.
