LCV TECHNICIAN Location of the LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic: Telford Salary of the LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic: £38,000 - £40,000 - basic is negotiable for the right person - plus overtime Hours of the LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic: Monday to Friday Days or splits - plus overtime Benefits of the LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic: * Company sick pay scheme * Employee assistance programme * 4 x basic pay Death in Service benefit from day one of employment * Training and development Responsibilities of theLCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic: * Carrying out scheduled servicing inspection and preparation for testing as required for all fleet and customer vehicles (Vans and LCVs) * Undertaking regular safety inspections of Vans in accordance with the statutory requirements and repair defects as necessary. * Inspecting vehicles to diagnose faults (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic) and repair as necessary. * Completing all necessary records relating to the inspection, service and repair of all fleet items in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements. * Liaising with colleagues, vehicle operatives and managers to prioritise workload, organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required. My client will also consider VW / Ford Car Mechanics / Technicians who may have worked on some vans. Someone with MOT Experience is highly desirable in this LCV Technician / Van Mechanic role.
