Brownhills Motorhomes are currently seeking a Valet Supervisor; this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team. We are the UK's largest Motorhome dealer and one stop destination for all Motorhome requirements. We sell new and used motorhomes, parts and accessories, undertake motorhome services/repairs and have an onsite cafe and leisure facilities. We employ around 200 staff at our 12.5 acre site. Job Description The Valet Supervisor will be responsible for the supervising of the Valet Team; ensuring productivity and quality of valeting services remain at the highest standards. Each vehicle will be quality controlled by the supervisor. As a hands-on role the Valet team supervisor will be responsible for the following activities: * Ensure that the department has the required number of staff each day and everyone understands their individual role be it part of a team or working alone. * Ensure that the vehicles on display are clean and tidy and all vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, including all motorhomes on our sales display areas * Quality Control of the valeting service. * Hold a monthly team meeting with the valet team to ensure staff are appraised and involved with the department and the whole business, meeting notes taken and any action points addressed. * Attendance of a weekly meeting with sales management to discuss the department performance, staff and any issues. * To ensure the safe working environment for valeting staff by complying with the statutory legislation and Government Health & Safety Policy together with Brownhills Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and to immediately report any non-conformance to appropriate senior management. * To ensure work areas kept by valeters is tidy and clean. Skills Required The successful candidate will be confident with a cheerful nature, punctual and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage a team of valeters. You will be able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and workmanship with excellent attention to detail. This is a demanding role in which no two days are the same. You will possess the following skills: * Hold a valid Full UK car driving license – essential (ideally up to 7500kgs * You will need to have good time management and team management skills * You will be able to follow specific instruction and manage a busy schedule * Have basic computer skills Further training will be given for the right candidate Hours of Work Normally Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break to be taken each day.
