We are currently seeking a Transporter Driver for our client based in Luton. As a Transporter Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently driving with valuable cargo. Responsibilities - Operate a commercial vehicle - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise Experience - Previous experience as a HGV 1 driver is preferred - Ability to drive a commercial vehicle safely and responsibly - Very good communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Familiarity with maintaining accurate records of deliveries - Would be able to conduct inductions for new drivers - Technical competency - Supervisory qualities - Experience of driving car transporters preferable but not essential If you are a reliable individual with excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety, we would love to hear from you.
