We are currently seeking a Transmission Assembly Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Wolverhampton. In this role, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the transmission components are assembled to the highest standards. You will work with a team of skilled technicians, following drawings, manuals, and engineering specifications to assemble, fit, and test the transmission systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and a strong attention to detail. Summary: Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Location: Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £18.50 plus shift allowance Hours: Double days - Monday to Friday 6- 1.30 and 1-9 rotating on a weekly basisKey Responsibilities: Assembling transmission components according to engineering specifications Ensuring all parts are securely fitted and aligned correctly Conducting quality checks and inspections to ensure the final product meets strict standards Troubleshooting and resolving any assembly issues or defects Collaborating with the engineering team to provide feedback for continuous improvement Maintaining a clean and organised work areaDesired Skills and Experience: Previous experience in transmission assembly or a similar role within the aerospace or automotive industry Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of assembly techniques and tools Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Effective communication and teamwork skillsIf you are a motivated and experienced Transmission Assembly Technician seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
