We are looking for a Transformation Programme Executive for a 12 month contract based in London or Derby on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Job description - the role The role will drive and enable the delivery of the transformation activity for Winning Together, a highly complex transformation programme. Role models high standards and principles to drive disciplined delivery that enables the transformation to deliver on its commitments. As a Transformation Programme Executive you will be responsible for: Transformation Programme performance excellence as a leader. Using Agile methodology help the workstream teams to achieve their goals; coach the team; resolve conflicts and issues that occur; support the workstream owners where needed. Drives decisions and actions, performance manage workstreams to meet deadlines and regularly communicates and collaborates with senior stakeholders, to provide an overview of transformation performance. Consistently monitors workstream progress of Transformation; tracks against workstream plan and pipeline value, status of existing and emerging risks, potential roadblocks and communicates updates to Director of Transformation and workstreams, including RAG status of the individual workstreams for SteerCo and wider performance forums. Accountable for interface management with workstream leads, ensuring delivery management, risk management and proactively works with workstreams to resolve roadblocks. Use change management methodology and change leadership approach to successfully lead the programme and business change activity. Accountability for delivering specific transformation projects from idea creation to deployment, ensuring robustly embedded in the operating model and ways of working.What we require from the candidate: Experience in the governance and management of transformation/improvement programmes. Lead programme execution against the target roadmap and identify when corrective action is needed to address off-track items. Has led complex projects in more than one context, function or business. Exercise good judgement on when to make decisions and when to consult/escalate to the Director of Transformation. The individual must have presence and credibility, must be able to build and maintain a large number of relationships given the variety and seniority of the stakeholder groups. The business acumen and technical knowledge to ask the right questions and work through the solutions to the many challenges that occur in programmes of this size and complexity. Experience of analysing and challenging the remit of a project and develop appropriate solutions and actions plans for these.
