Quattro Resourcing are proud to be supporting our client based in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire who are on the lookout for a reliable Trainee Vehicle Mechanic / Technician Position: Trainee Vehicle Mechanic / Technician Location: Chipping Warden Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time (Temp to perm) Working Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 (1 hour break) Weekends and Bank Holidays: Occasional weekend availability (optional) Responsibilities; * Safely and efficiently move vehicles around yard * Ensure vehicles are road legal before leaving site. * Fault finding of vehicles * Complete necessary paperwork and log all deliveries accurately ensuring vehicle defects/damages prior to dropping off/collecting are recorded. * Jump starting vehicles, reconditioning of batteries & pumping tyres. * Using the system to book vehicles in and out. Requirements; * Exceptional customer service levels. * Great attitude to work * Fluent in written and verbal English. * MUST have a least a level 2 in motor mechanics Skills; * Ability to drive a variety of brand new vehicles from small to large, including manual and automatic transmission. * Ability to book cars in and out using in house IT system. * Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
