Having recently recruited new NDT employees for the New Mills facility, Morgan Ward NDT is in an unrivalled position to expand its team further and offer a rare opportunity to provide full investment for someone to commence their journey in NDT with the company. You’ll undertake training in multiple methods within the field of NDT, working in a hybrid role that combines work experience within the company’s in-house workshop and at the base at Manchester airport, with a hands-on approach throughout your OJT (on the job training) and active involvement in learning inspection techniques within a blended environment. You need to have the following: * Ideally possess at least one year’s experience of working in a Part 145 organisation in any capacity, OR * Possess work experience in an Aerospace or Engineering business, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in NDT OR * Military personnel ready for resettlement in civilian life * An analytical and methodical style of thinking, with exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of team * Able to follow instructions and work closely with the company’s Level 2’s and Site Manager * Full driver’s licence As well as providing NDT support at the company’s New Mills facility, this position also brings exciting opportunities to travel the world, so it’s essential that applicants are willing to work away from home and also work unsociable hours – including nights and weekends – to meet customer needs. Due to EASA requirements, applicants must be age 19 and above to be considered for this position.
