We have a new opportunity for a Trainee Finance Business Partner join our busy vans business. The Trainee Finance Business Partner will be expected to provide key information which enables sound business decisions to be made. You will be working alongside the Financial Controller to develop and enhance all aspects of financial reporting and data analysis. Here is a flavour of what you’ll be doing day to day: * Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and operational reports on a timely basis. * Assist in the production of Contribution Reports for review by the Head of Finance and the Regional Teams. * Work alongside the Finance Business Partner to continuously improve the format and content of the reports to enhance decision making and drive improvements though the Regional Teams. * Development of key dynamic operational reports and provide ‘real time’ analysis of data as and when required using tools such as Excel and Power BI. Development of Dashboards for such information. * Review and evaluate variances between actual performance and budgets and identify areas of concern. * Ensure that capital expenditure is controlled in line with company procedures. To be successful in this role: * You will be minimum AAT Qualified or part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA * Have a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices * Good analytical and logical problem solving skills * Be a confident communicator * Have the ability to present financial information * Have good standard of competence in Excel and Power Bi * Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work and have excellent organisational skills that enable you to manage a complex and varied workload. * Experience in developing good relationships with a range of staff and customers.
