This will be a permanent role on behalf of our client a major Automotive Manufacturer based in Staffordshire. Responsibilities of the Test Rig Technician will include: Commissioning and running of test rigs Investigate and diagnose electrical issues, using diagnostic equipment. Support Testing in static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results. Analysis of faults to effectively report issues to relevant areas of production and engineering. Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Test Rig Technician role: Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, & maintenance techniques. Experience running test rigs. Vehicle system knowledge with the ability to fault find components and wiring. City & Guilds / BTEC / IMI Level 3 would be preferable within automotive engineering OR a recognised apprenticeship or qualification within a relevant field.
