Test and Validation Engineer Location: Powys Job Type: 12 Month Contract Salary: Up to £37.50 DOE Outside IR35 Industry: Electric Powertrain    About the opportunity   My client are a leading manufacturer of high performance electric powertrains, we are looking for a Test & Validation Engineer who will play a key role in rigorously testing and validating motor performance.   Deliverables Develop and execute test plans to validate Performance, Durability and Functionality Contribute to the preparation, calibration and, where necessary, updates to Test Rigs and create automated test scripts Collect and analyse test data, create test reports and draw relevant conclusions Person Requirements Relevant degree e.g. Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering Ability to use MATLAB, Labview or similar to analyse data and create test scripts Ability to test Electric Motors, Motor Control Units or similar Powertrain systems, using Dynamometers and lab equipment Tags   Matlab, Labview, Electric Motor, Electric Powertrain, Test & Validation, Test and Validation, T&V, Verification, Validation, Automated Testing   This company is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
