Technical Support Representative We are recruiting for a Technical Support Representative to join our Lichfield based client in this trainee role. The business specialises in the design and production of innovative vehicle safety and security products. Their products range from cameras and digital video recorders through to reverse parking solutions and their customers range from individuals and small businesses through to extensive fleet work. They are a rapidly growing business and are looking to extend their dedicated and focused team. This role would suit an individual who has worked or has an interest in working in the aftermarket automotive industry to support the current Technical and R&D team. Full training and support will be given. As a Technical Support Representative, you will need to have/be: Basic knowledge and understanding of automotive electrical systems or the willingness to learn Some knowledge in automotive aftermarket installations, for example, car audio, reversing cameras, vehicle CCTV, tracking etc Exemplary customer service standards Good knowledge of MS office Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Strive to achieve high standards and take pride in any work undertaken Excellent organisation and time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines Ability to work co-operatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies Ability to act and operate independentlyDetails: Salary: £24, 000 DOE Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Location: Lichfield Duration: PermanentRole of Trainee Technical Support Representative: To evaluate and improve our customer support from inbound calls and customer feedback To provide technical support internally and to external customers, supporting the installation and set-up of our products To assist in projects ensuring timelines and deliverables Technical liaison between factories and customers To provide written briefs Make site visits to monitor projects as required To assist with prototype and new product installation on a mix of vehicles including cars, vans, HGV, Plant, Bus and Coach To design spec sheets and instructions, including capturing images, recording technical information and specification to design customer installation and user guides To provide both in-house and external technical training as required To manage vehicle and product application guides including any amendments with new vehicle releasesBenefits of working as a Trainee Technical Support Representative: 23 days plus bank holidays Free onsite parking Pension scheme
