Job Title: Technical Specialist Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: Up to £19 per hour Location: Gloucester Contract: Permanent full time About the Role: As a Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of technical support and service for our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, providing expert advice, and contributing to the overall success of the dealership. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough diagnostics on heavy goods vehicles to identify and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with the service team to develop effective repair and maintenance plans. Provide expert guidance to customers on technical matters and address inquiries. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and product knowledge. Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the pre-sales process. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and technical interventions.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Technical Specialist in the HGV industry. In-depth knowledge of heavy goods vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Relevant certifications in HGV maintenance and repair.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HGV maintenance is a plus.
