Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Maintenance and Support Engineer to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This contract Technical Maintenance and Support Engineer role is based in Coventry and offers an Umbrella rate of £25.96 per hour inside IR35. This role is fully on site in Whitley with some travel to Gaydon. The length of this contract is until 31.3.25. As a Technical Maintenance and Support Engineer, you will manage priorities and identify issues and solutions using your initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and achieve results. You will also manage budgets for maintenance activities, such as service level agreements. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Experience of working as a Mechanical Engineer/Technician within a facility maintenance environment. Ability to manage priorities, identify issues and solutions using own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and achieve results. Experience of managing budgets for maintenance activities, such as service level agreements. Preferred: An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to all levels within the business. Must be self-motivated, keen to take on responsibility & able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision. Friendly, flexible person with good communication skills. Ability to work theoretically and practically with people in different teams, at all levels of the business. Excellent interpersonal skills. Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making. Ability to resolve technical and process issues promptly. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience of collaborative team environments. Experience operating and working in a technically capable team. Education NVQ, Diploma or a Degree in a suitable discipline, and/or significant relevant experience. Completed a fully indentured Apprenticeship within a mechanical/ electrical/ electronic discipline.
