Do you have a passion for leading Quality Inspection and looking for an exciting, dynamic role? We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our outstanding Quality Management team, based on-site at one of the UK’s most prestigious Automotive Manufacturers. The opportunity: Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5 - 10 Inspectors, which can increase during peak times. You will work along-side management to successfully organise and lead the hour-to-hour function of designated projects within associated Gobel and Partner areas. The Team Leader will be responsible for, but not limited to: * Reviewing handover from previous shift and assigning tasks to the Quality Inspectors and Storemen in accordance. * Ensuring all inspectors have the relevant tooling, material flow, PPE and understanding to work to the required Test Plan / WES. * Control all NOK parts found during the project, ensuring they are packaging and stacking of parts are correct. * Supporting the Supervisors with 8D investigations, Level 1 and 5S Audits. * Working alongside the area supervisor to identify and promptly resolve issues, with minimal or no effect to production. The ideal candidate: * As the position has a full-time, onsite requirement, the successful candidate must be able to reliably commute for the below shift times. * Due to the nature of the position, you will have previous experience in a leadership role, within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment. * Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. * Excellent communication skills, with a strong work ethic. Job type: Full-time, permanent position. Salary: £12.00 - £13.00per hour (Dependent on experience). Working schedule: * Weekly rotational shifts. * Early shift – 6:00am – 13:30pm * Late shift – 13:30pm - 21:00pm * Weekend overtime available Benefits include: * Weekend overtime starting from 25%+. * 28 days holiday - Inclusive of Bank Holidays. * Free on-site parking. * Employer pension contribution. * Excellent development and progression opportunities.
