System Engineer BRIEF OVERVIEW - Role: System Engineer (junior to senior engineer available) - Role type: Permanent - Salary/Rate: up to £55k DOE - Working type: Hybrid/remote (1 day minimum per week on-site) / 9-day fortnight We are looking for a System Engineer from junior to senior level to work on various projects within safety-critical industries, such as defence and space. There are multiple projects available to work on with plenty coming up. There is a huge focus on work-life balance, so working from home is fully acceptable if you're able to commit at least 1 day per week on site. There is also a big emphasis on training and development, with a big budget allocated just for this purpose. REQUIREMENTS - Model-based system engineer (MBSE) - SysML / UML - Full lifecycle system engineering - Experience with complex, safety-critical systems (Defence, Space, Automotive, etc) DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL) - Knowledge of ISO standards - Knowledge of defence/space standards - Usage of DOORS / Enterprise Architect - Understanding of system safety principals - Degree in a relevant engineering discipline / chartership If this role is of interest, please get in touch with an updated CV as soon as possible and we can discuss this in further detail over the phone when possible.
