Please note this role requires 1 day onsite a week in Bristol and ad hoc visits (1-2 days a week) to one of our clients offices in North Devon. This role is to support customers in developing defence combat and Mission systems. Particularly to act as customer friend, third party assessor, system integrator and product supplier. Responsibilities * You will undertake technical work activities within a systems engineering context * Work as part of a technical team in support of project objectives * Assist in the production of technical documentation in support of work carried out * Engaging with stakeholders, project managers and senior technical staff to ensure customer and business needs are satisfied appropriately and problems are mitigated You will be advising on: How combat systems should be developed, acquired and evolved Test, evaluation and acceptance of combat systems and their constituent equipment Interface management and development Requirements management System of system architectures Lifecycle management and reviews Subcontractor technical management The identification and rectification of defects such as those encountered during operational service.Essential Skills * Requirements management * System Architecture * Subcontractor management * IVVQA experience * Certification experience on MOD defence projects Benefits The chance to work on some of the hardest engineering problems around, including novel applications in a range of market areas, including aerospace, defence, rail and automotive.
