WHAT TO EXPECT JLR’s Chassis Vertical Function Group is looking for a Suspension Systems Mechatronic Product Owner to join the team in developing and delivering new suspension systems from concept to production. Our team is responsible for developing and delivering suspension systems such as Active Suspension, Active Roll Control, Adaptive Damping and Air Suspension. Your role will play a key part for the delivery of major new commodities within the group and will be encompassing JLR’s vision of modern luxury. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Design and Release responsibility for major commodities within Vertical Function Group Lead an engineering squad using Agile methodologies to coordinate all activities associated with commodity delivery to agreed cost, weight, quality and timing targets Lead issue management and root cause analysis Provide technical guidance/support to other component engineers to enable them to complete their delivery responsibilities. Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time  WHAT YOU’LL NEED Within this role you will be working with and coordinating other engineers to meet targets and goals in bringing the commodities through to delivery, for this you will need to be a good team play with strong interpersonal skills as well as problem solving skills. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Experience of mechatronic systems Experience of delivering project driven workload to cost, quality and timing targets Experience of chassis and suspension Experience of developing and delivering a commodity Stakeholder and supplier management skills    SO WHY US?
