Our client, a leading entity in the Aviation sector and is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a contract role based in Whiteley. This 6 month (hybrid) contract role in Whiteley offers a dynamic opportunity to support the Supply Chain team in implementing category strategies and managing end-to-end supply chain activities to deliver business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Support the Supply Chain team in defining and implementing category strategies for select portfolios across the organisation's businesses. Effectively manage and report on the delivery and performance of nominated supplier contracts. Regularly review and implement global supply chain category and commodity strategies. Ensure effective supplier onboarding and continuous review of supplier capability. Develop and manage contractual relationships with suppliers. Measure, manage, and develop supplier performance to meet contractual and project targets. Experience: Experience in category and contract management. CIPS qualification (Desirable) Experience in managing complex contract negotiations across various spend areas. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects. Experience in working within 'blue chip' and FTSE 100 companies.
