Supply Chain Controller / near Lancing / Up to £40,000 Are you an experienced Supply Chain Controller? Based in a busy Supply Chain department, the role will combine aspects of both Purchasing and Material Control, including interaction with both the customer and the supply base. Location / Hours: You'll be based close to Lancing, 5 days per week; (you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. free parking available.) Monday - Friday (40hrs a week) Requirements: Experienced in Supplier management. Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel. Effective communication skills. Available to travel overseas with sufficient notice. Relevant Purchasing experience. Problem solving, analytical and listening skills Full Driving Licence.Desirables: Previous user of LN Infor ERP system. Experience in Supplier scheduling. Ability to read technical drawings. Experience of purchasing in the Automotive sector Project Management experience. Duties & Responsibilities: Managing a number of suppliers within a Global Supply Chain. Ordering and expediting engine components Collaborating with other functions to resolve technical and quality concerns. Visiting suppliers to carry out Business Reviews in the UK and overseas Supporting the creation of supplier delivery schedules. Resolving commercial issues. Managing the supply of engine components to an external customer base.
