Position: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Silverstone, Northants Job Type: Permanent Our client, high performance design and engineering solution provider within the Automotive industry are looking to hire a Supplier Quality Engineer! Role and Responsibilities – In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality and reliability of materials supplied to the business. You will look to collaborate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to establish and maintain quality processes. Other responsibilities include: Ensuring customers’ requirements are being met through establishing robust internal processes and providing engineering feedback where required Auditing suppliers for approval or performance assessment of new and existing suppliers Developing strategies to ensure visual carbon composites are in line with the customer requirements whilst having a right-first-time mentality Actively working with suppliers to collaboratively develop product specifications to align with process capability Experience or Qualifications – Degree educated or proven experience in an engineering environment (ideally automotive) Experince of working and collaborating effectively with suppliers Proven skills in detailed analysis from first principles thinking ISO9001 Auditing experience Candidates who currently are a Supplier Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Supplier Manager, or Quality Engineer may be suitable for this position.
