Driver Support - What You’ll Be Doing: * Supporting our suppliers after they have completed the initial onboarding process. * Building relationships with suppliers, by delivering ongoing support and training. * Brokering movements across our network to make sure every vehicle movement we have is pre-allocated to a supplier. * Manage your own group of suppliers and to ensure they meet operational and financial KPIs. * Difficult conversations will be required, as there will be occasions when remedial action is necessary. * Mentoring suppliers, helping them to improve by providing honest feedback * There is a sales element to the role. * Effectively planning driver’s days to ensure vehicles are collected/delivered on time and limiting driver’s travel between movements. Driver Support - What Skills Do You Need to Succeed: * Transport Planning experience is desirable. * Excellent communication skills are essential as you will spend a large amount of time on the phone with suppliers. * Ability to collaborate with your internal team effectively. * We are a growing business and we want someone who can contribute new ideas and looking for ways to improve current procedures and processes. * Good negotiation skills would be a bonus.
