With an increase in workload, we are actively seeking experienced Stores Assistants to join our team on a long-term ongoing basis. Position Overview: * Collaborate with the Inspection team to analyze completed inspections and identify required parts for refurbishment quotations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. * Work closely with Technical teams to manage complex parts requirements for individual jobs, including estimate creation and ordering. * Maintain optimal stock levels through structured inventory management, including periodic stock checks and adherence to just-in-time processes. * Oversee warranty parts returns processing according to strict guidelines. * Manage and claim surcharge parts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Accurately order and receive parts, reconcile associated paperwork, and record invoices. * Conduct quality checks on all incoming and outgoing parts. * Issue parts to technicians, ensuring correct allocation and recording against job cards. * Perform general housekeeping duties * Adhere to company policies and procedures,. Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar parts or stores role within the automotive industry is essential. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and inventory. * Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and ISO standards is advantageous. * Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and schedules. * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
