Space Planner - Bournemouth – Zero Hour Contract (Immediate Start) Location: Bournemouth Hourly Pay Rate: £22.12p/h Via Umbrella Hours of Work: Zero Hour Contract (8am – 5pm) A World Leading Service provider who operates on an international scale is looking for a Space Planner who is responsible for designing and organizing office and commercial spaces to optimize the use of space and ensure the safety of occupants. They must be knowledgeable of building codes and regulations, able to use computer-aided design (CAD) software, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This is a Zero Hour contract where the client would need someone to come to site when needed with hours of 8am – 5pm. Key responsibilities: * To create efficient, functional, and attractive interior spaces while taking into account the safety and well-being of the people who will be using them. * They are responsible for designing and specifying the layout of spaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, to ensure the best possible use of the space. * Ensuring that their designs are compliant with local building codes, health regulations, and accessibility standards. * Responsible for creating plans that optimize the use of space in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. * Analyse the layout of a building, identify potential problems, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. * Understanding of building codes, regulations, and local laws. * Effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that the plans meet the needs of the stakeholders. * Develop plans for efficient use of interior space * Design office layouts and other space * Develop diagrams and other documents to communicate design * Select furniture and other items to support the space planner * Plan for technological and other equipment need * Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations Key Requirements: * Organizational ability * Floor plan design * Project management * Computer literacy * Excellent organizational skill * Ability to interpret blueprints, floor plans and other technical drawing * Knowledge of building codes and regulation * Familiarity with space optimization principle * Personal Trait * Attention to detail * Creative problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently If this role is of any interest then please do apply for the role below
