Looking for Software Architect – Autosar working with Onward Tech (payroll) with the Client JLR UK, Manchester, Hybrid Onsite. Software Architect – Autosar Key responsibilities will include * Supporting AutoSAR product roadmap creation and strategy development * Conceptualize software solutions for JLR ECUs and innovative vehicle topologies, including but not limited to Autosar and embedded software across the Base Software Chapter. * Evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for reusability and improvement * Analyze modifications for existing software to upgrade performance * Ensure architectural integrity of software solutions * Support and guidance of the delivery teams to develop systems and solutions in line with architectural development documentation * Lead Architectural reviews * Overseeing and supporting the assessment of solution excellence to core KPI’s as well as independently rating and assessing solutions * Maximising value from systems through technical sustainability, longevity, and reusability * Give input as needed to issues within the Group, like tool and environment selection * Resolve disputes and make tradeoffs * Resolve technical problems within the scope of the release * Understand and plan for evolutionary paths across the group * Supporting stakeholders across the business with the setup of delivery teams * Leading multiple design activities and projects Essential * Ability to communicate clearly the complex concepts from the system level to the component level * Proved hands-on experience (at least 10+ years) on Autosar, embedded software development, C and/or C++ programming and debugging * Knowledge of OSEK, Autosar Classic, Autosar Adaptive, Linux and QNX operating systems * Experience in both low-level operating system functionality (e.g. memory/resource management, scheduling, process control) as well as high-level real-time and/or embedded applications * System requirements analysis and elicitation * Software requirements derivation and allocation to the Software Architecture * UML and SySML hands-on experience, clear understanding of modelling * Good knowledge of Design Patterns * Understanding of Model Based System Engineering * Good understanding of networking and security * Good knowledge of ISO standards relative to Software Development Lifecycle, Requirements management, Architecture and coding * Understanding of Automotive Standards (ASPICE) * Good understanding of SDLC processes * Good understanding of Hardware – Software interactions
