Mechanical Design Engineer £35,000 - £45,000 Opportunity to work in a variety of sectors including Industrial, Medical, Automotive, Plastics & Aerospace West Midlands. Ref: 22903 Design Engineer - The Role: Designing bespoke automated machines and systems, ensuring they meet customer specifications and are delivered on time and within budget Organising and managing meetings with customers in conjunction with the Project Leader Specifying and obtaining quotations for the purchasing of tooling and bought out items Reporting on project progress via our reporting systems Solving problems and initiating corrective actions to ensure project completion Assisting with the preparation of manuals and other related documents Creating pneumatic specifications & diagrams Assisting in the control specification & sequencing documents Specifying all sensors & ancillary equipment needed to achieve the final design Working with and improving our design & build standards Design Engineer - The Person: Hold suitable engineering qualifications to degree standard or equivalent Possess several years' relevant experience Be innovative, creative and able to work at both the conceptual and detailed level Work effectively both individually and as part of a team Display leadership through personal example and be effective at problem solving Be a good communicator with good listening and presentation skills Have a "can do" attitude and be self-motivated to achieve exceptional results Have excellent time management and able to work to tight deadlines Have a passion for automation and takes pride in their work As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will receive an annual salary ranging from £35-45k, depending on your experience.
