We have an opportunity for a Skilled Manual Machinist to join our Aerospace team in Redditch. ​​You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area whilst participating in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements. Our normal working hours (total 37 hours per week) are: Mon to Thu 8 till 17.00 (with a paid morning break and 45 minute Lunch break) Fri 8 till 12.00 (with a paid morning break) Skilled Manual Machinist responsibilities: · Operate assigned equipment including manual machining and carry out assembly activities. · Participate in continuous improvement activities. · Support the Honeywell Operating System · Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness · Comply with all safety rules. · Record and report production data. · Analyse data and production reports · Set up and change over equipment Qualifications: · Hold a Level 3 qualification within Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent skilled industry experience with manual machining experience · Engineering principles and understanding of technical drawings · Ability to analyse information and concepts · Ability to collaborate with others and work independently · Ability to identify key details · Ability to troubleshoot · Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity We offer · A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovation · Market specific training and on-going personal development If this is your dream role, then we'd love to hear from you.
