As a Skilled Lay Up Operator / Laminator in the aerospace industry, you will have the opportunity to join our client, a leading company in the sector. Your role will involve manufacturing various components using composite, glass, and honeycomb core materials. Utilizing manual laminating techniques, you will produce high-quality composite components for aircraft. Role Specific Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to: Composites lay-up for a variety of types of panels, working to tight tolerances Reporting directly to the section Team Leader and participating within a team to ensure production requirements are achieved safely, on time, and to customer specifications Collaborating with Quality and Engineering departments to meet production requirements Operating under your own initiative with minimal supervision Reading and accurately following work instructions, specifications, and part drawings Approving your own work when requirements, drawings specifications, and standards have been fully achieved Accurately completing work route cards to maintain component traceability Contributing to reducing scrap levels within the business Please note that this role involves physical activity, so applicants must be capable of undertaking the necessary tasks.
