On behalf of our globally respected client, we are hiring for a Skilled Inspector to work on a 12-month contract based in Ansty. Please note this role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights). As a Skilled Inspector you will: Work to Technical Instructions and program manuals to assess the quality of complex machined components. Operate and interpret inspection equipment across Siemens-controlled units. Use your background in CNC turning and milling to inspect aluminium and nickel-based components Interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings to ensure dimensional and visual inspection standards are met. Collaborate with machinists and quality teams to maintain excellence in component output; no programming responsibilities are required in this role.What we are looking for from a Skilled Inspector: Completed a modern engineering apprenticeship (4 years) or 3 years of experience with a Level 3 NVQ (fabrication & welding considered with sufficient CNC experience). Strong background in CNC machining. Familiarity with Siemens control systems and experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machinery. Comfortable working in a precision-led environment; exposure to large or complex parts (e.g. nuclear, aerospace, F1, or high-end automotive) highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform dimensional and visual inspection with clear understanding of technical and customer requirements.Next steps We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
