Site Contract Manager Halewood, Merseyside Excellent basic salary 20% Bonus, Company sick pay, Car allowance, Private medical care, 4 x Life Assurance We are working with an international engineering managed services provider in their search for an exceptional people focused Site Contract Manager. Working along side a major OEM, people skills and stakeholder management knowledge is key to the success of this on-site role. You will oversee all operational cleaning activities for a major automotive OEM site at Halewood , including managing labour, equipment, financial, and administrative duties. Lead a management team and cleaning/waste operatives, handle recruitment and training. Key Responsibilities: Delivery: Supervise personnel, ensuring safe practices and handling training, absences, and disciplinary actions. Oversee cleaning operations to meet/exceed customer standards. Efficiently manage resources and schedules. Monitor profitability and drive continuous improvement. Oversee KPI reporting and ensure safety measures are in place. Collaboration: Develop, motivate, and manage direct reporting staff. Ensure effective communication with all staff. Maintain client relationships and manage service performance. Support HR processes and ensure staff training and competence. Operate audit processes to meet quality standards. Empowerment: Ensure adherence to Company systems and implement new ones as needed. Procure and maintain reliable cleaning equipment. Apply problem-solving skills for effective issue resolution. Deliver presentations to stakeholders. Moving Forward: Participate in service reviews and promote products. Identify and manage process/quality improvements. Enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. Reduce costs for consumables and overtime. Internal and External Relationships: Report to the Regional General Manager, North. Liaise with local supervisors, management, Central Support, customer representatives, and suppliers. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: HNC or equivalent qualification. Management/supervisory experience. Customer-focused cleaning contract management. Understanding of the waste industry and factory environment. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Computer literacy. Problem-solving skills. Resource planning experience. Leadership and team support experience. Cost control experience. Excellent communication skills. Desirable: Management degree/diploma. Knowledge of WR1 and duty of care. Familiarity with PCA and Navision software. Skills and Personal Qualities: Essential: Results-driven, motivational, organized, and analytical. Initiative-driven and resilient. Strong relationship-building skills. Committed to learning and development. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: Knowledge of Lean principles. Customer satisfaction focus. Enthusiastic and goal oriented.
